Cover Reveal Chance Encounters by Jenna Pizzi

I am so excited to be participating in this cover reveal for Jenna. I absolutely love and adore her and her books just ROCK! So when she asked if I would participate I of course jumped at the chance. But before I show you the reveal let's get to know more about Jenna.

From as far back as I can remember I always had a story to tell. Whether it was creating a world for my dolls, or running through the woods trying to escape the unseen forces that were after me. As I got older, I carried a notebook around with me and wrote about the life I wished I had been living. It was my escape. Even then, I didn't realize it was something I could actually put together on my own.
In high school, I discovered writers such as Dean Koontz, Nora Robert, and many more amazing authors. I would get lost in those books. The drama, the suspense, the romance, the terror, it was thrilling. I wanted to tell stories just like that. Unfortunately, life happens. Families begin, and those dreams sometimes get pushed aside while new ones arise.
It wasn't until a few years ago, another writer told me the story of how she sat in her mini-van while at her child's sports practice with a notebook, and she wrote an entire novel that became an instant bestseller. She told me it was the most thrilling thing she'd ever done, and that it was never too late to live out a dream.
I went home, set up my laptop, sat down, and wrote my first novel "The Long Road Home." I was dealing with a lot of emotions after a family tragedy and that one novel, released me from all the pain I was feeling. When I was through, the feeling of seeing my words in the palm of my hand was unlike any feeling I had ever experienced. I haven't stopped writing since. I am a storyteller. I want to create a world that will touch your heart the way mine has been touched.

Roseanna - Ana - French was happy with her life. Sure she had to move to a strange new town and live in a creepy new house that had inexplicable cold spots, but she could live with that. What she couldn’t deal with was the relentless tapping inside the walls at night, the sinister shadows in the halls or the spirit crawling its way beneath her skin.

Dirty 30 Blog Tour

Today on my blog I have the Dirty 30 Blog Tour. On my stop there is a spotlight, reviews, and awesome giveaway for a kindle! Wish I could enter. So let's get started and meet R.M.

R.M. Gilmore is a paranormal and mystery/suspense writer and creator of the irreverent Dylan Hart Odyssey of the Occult series and the groundbreaking Lynnie Russell Trilogy. Both of which were voted top reads of 2012, as well as, bestselling in Irish Mythology, Female Sleuths and Occult genre. A member of Sisters in Crime and devoted Indie author supporter, R.M. uses her time when she is not writing to promote and assist her fellow authors.

R.M. resides in California with her family and a ton of pets. Choosing to behave 'outside the box' R.M. prefers to think and live freely without the constraints of social stigma in life and in writing. That being said, she truly is not your mother's author.

Stalker Links:

Book 1:
Irreverent twenty-something, Dylan Hart, has her little black heart set to cash-in on the blood-drained bodies of seven prostitutes scattered throughout southern California.
In search of the culprit of the media-dubbed Vampire Massacres, journalist Dylan Hart dives head first into L.A.’s sanguinary ‘vampire’ subculture, in an attempt to write her first best-selling novel and pay off her ever growing student debt.
Dylan drinks whiskey, smokes like a chimney, and possesses a mouth she wouldn’t kiss her mama with and with the aid of her statuesque hetero-life-mate Tatum Price, Dylan takes the case head-on, slicing her way through the absurd, the ethereal and the deadly serious, of the underground ‘vampire’ community. But lies and skepticism keep Dylan from the facts hidden within fiction and the danger lurking right under her nose. It’s all shits and giggles until a dead body pops up at your back door.

Review:
I was drawn to this by the cover from one line “They’re not your daughter’s vampires” that alone had me picking this book up and staying up late into the night to finish it even though I kept telling myself just one more chapter then I am going to bed. Well that one more chapter lead me to finish the book in one sitting and I am so glad I did.

We start off meeting Dylan Hart who I just love. She is a reporter who wants to write a book centered on the vampire killings in Los Angeles. She sets off to the latest crime scene where she can talk to the lead detective Mike who she has a strange relationship with but is explained later on in the book. Getting nowhere with the cops she goes to a Goth bar to interview what she believes are kids playing at being vampires. She is annoyed with the first kid she interviews so she calls her best friend Tatum to go to a different bar. While at this bar they meet Cyrus who is not what he seems to be. He takes Dylan and Tatum to yet another exclusive member’s only club where things start turning weird for Dylan after her drink is drugged and she can’t remember anything from the nights but bits and pieces. Dylan is furious when she wakes up and demands Cyrus tell her everything but that proves a little difficult when he can’t remember either. So he sets up a meeting with his boss Malcolm. After this meeting things start to get crazy for Dylan and the book she is trying to write turns into her fighting for her life. Dylan is forced into re thinking everything she thought and trying to figure who she can trust.

I loved this book so much. Dylan is one of my favorite characters I have ever read. We are a lot a like in our personalities. She is funny, sarcastic, and smart mouthed. I kept finding myself laughing out loud while reading the things she was saying. Her relationship with her best friend Tatum is a lot like most of us have. Cyrus is sexy and mysterious. He’s the kind of guy you can’t figure out if he’s the villain or hero and right along with Dylan being confused about him so was I. It wasn’t until close to the end of the book that I stared figuring things out.

If you want a book filled with characters you can love and feel like you know, murder, betrayal, vampires, have you laughing out loud, and leave you guessing at every turn then I highly recommend The Scene by R.M. Gilmore. 5/5 Bloody Fangs

Book Links:

Book 2:
The bitch is back in this second installment of the Dylan Hart Odyssey of the Occult series. The irreverent Dylan Hart, once again, graces us with her presence, this time from down in New Orleans. She has drug along her band of misfit vampires, but this time blood drinkers are the least of her worries. Dylan finds herself entangled in the underground world of blood and lust when she encounters a new, and much more frightening, villain. Voodoo. Who do?

Review:
R.M. has surpassed herself with the second book of the Dylan Hart series. Book two is funnier, sexier, edgier, and side splitting laughing out loud to the point of having people look at you like you have lost your ever loving mind and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Dylan finds herself in New Orleans on a new adventure that will have her belief system spinning yet again. Pushing her relationships to the max, making new enemies, and getting hot and heavy but with whom, well you will have to read the book to find that part out for yourself.

So I already had a girl crush on Dylan from book one The Scene and this book made me love her even more. She is by far my favorite female character and I already want book three so I can read more of Dylan. There isn’t a minute of this book that didn’t have me completely engrossed in the story line. It is fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding or had me laughing out loud to the point people are staring at me.

If you want a series with a kick ass heroine who has the biggest potty mouth, that has a great mix of humor, action, sex, than check out Dylan Hart by R.M. Gilmore. 5/5 Bloody Fangs

Book 3:
-------> COMING SOON!!! <-------
Dylan has found herself in quite the conundrum...oh shit, who are we kidding?
She's ass deep in death and it's knocking down her door. Literally.
Endless Night left you with your heart pounding and your stomach in your butt...book three will flip you upside down and take you on a ride that'll leave your knees quivering and your head lying on the floor...literally.

Book 1:
"I'm Sharlene Carolynn Diamond Russell, but most folks around Havana call me Lynnie. I want to tell you about the day a chance encounter changed my life forever. From a few sweet smooches to gut churning transformations, this is the story of the events that led to my Becoming."
Country girl paranormal novella from author R.M. Gilmore (author of the Dylan Hart Odyssey of The Occult series). A new twist on an old classic. Havana, Arkansas isn't exactly the picture of mystics and magic, but Lynnie Russell learns quickly you can't judge a book by it's cover. She discovers myths and legends are alive and well in her tiny little town and she is at the center of it.

Flicker & Burn Blog Tour

Today on my blog I have the Flicker & Burn tour. On my stop there is a spotlight, tens list, review, and giveaway.

T.M. Goeglein began his career as a writer of print and television ads for a host of advertising and media companies. As a screenwriter, he created both original scripts and worked as a script doctor for several production companies in Los Angeles. He was an original contributor to the Huffington Post 'Living' section, and continues to write for both the national edition and Huffington Post Chicago. Read T.M. Goeglein's stories on the Huffington Post.
His debut young adult novel, COLD FURY, will be published by Penguin/Putnam in 2012 and is the first in a trilogy; he’s currently working on the second book. He lives in Chicago with his wife, Laura, and two young children.

Stalker Links:

Sara Jane Rispoli is still searching for her missing family, but instead of fighting off a turncoat uncle and crooked cops, this time she finds herself on the run from creepy beings with red, pulsing eyes and pale white skin chasing her through the streets in ice cream trucks; they can only be described as Ice Cream Creatures. They're terrifying and hell bent on killing her, but they're also a link to her family, a clue to where they might be and who has them.
While she battles these new pursuers, she's also discovering more about her own cold fury and more about the Chicago Outfit, how the past misdeeds--old murders and vendettas--might just be connected to her present and the disappearance of her family. But connecting the dots is tough and time-consuming and may finally be the undoing of her relationship with the handsome Max--who's now her boyfriend. But for his own safety, Sara Jane may have to end this relationship before it even really starts.
Her pursuers who've shown her her mother's amputated finger and the head of the Chicago Outfit who's just whistled her in for a sit-down make a romance unthinkable. The only thing that matters is finding her family and keeping everyone she loves alive.

Review:
I am hooked on this series. I loved it from page one all the way to the last page and I still want more of this world that T.M. has created.

Sarah is still trying to find her kidnapped family. Add to that she has pale faced red eyed creatures chasing after her in ice cream trucks no less. Oh and she has to start her junior of high school like nothing is going on all the while she gets deeper in the Chicago Mob scene and finding more information on her cold fury. Will she able to find her family in time before the mob closes in on her and stay away from the ice cream creatures? You’ll have to read Flicker & Burn to find out since I don’t do spoilers.

Sarah is defiantly become one of my favorite characters this year. She is so strong and I can’t even imagine going through everything she is at the age of sixteen. From running from red eye creatures, trying to find her family, and keep up the family business of being the mediator for the disputes between the muscle and the money I couldn’t do it. I can not wait for the next book to see what happens in this action packed, amazing page turning book. 4/5 Bloody Fangs

Tens List:
Your favorite guy/girls characters from your books, including random facts about them.
Doug Stuffins, Sara Jane’s best friend. He’s tough and funny, and loves movies. Random fact: Doug is scared to admit he’s gay, not because of what people will think about him, but because he’s not sure how it makes him feel about himself.
Poor Kevin, the masked freak. He’s driven to violent extremes by an insane hatred of Sara Jane’s family. Random fact: A Rispoli ‘R’ is burned into Poor Kevin’s disfigured face.
Gina Pettagola, Sara Jane’s super-gossipy semi-friend. Random fact: Gina had a nose job along with her sister, and you’d better not tell anyone!
Max Kissberg, Sara Jane’s boyfriend (sort of.) He’s patient with Sara Jane, even though she’s obviously withholding facts about her life. Random fact: Max is old school, a guy who knows how to take apart and fix his vintage Triumph motorcycle.
Elzy, Sara Jane’s nemesis. She’s desperately trying to get her hands on Sara Jane and the old notebook. Random fact: Elzy loves Frank Sinatra more than anyone in the world…except her brother, Poor Kevin.
Lou Rispoli, Sara Jane’s younger brother. He disappeared along with their mom and dad. Random fact: Lou rescued a small, Italian greyhound, Harry, from the pound; in turn, Harry becomes a partner to Sara Jane in trying to rescue her family.
Teardrop, an Ice Cream Creature. It’s unclear whether Teardrop is a guy or girl, but obvious that it wants to do harm to Sara Jane. Random fact: Teardrop’s memory has been wiped clean by the insidious drug, Sec-C.
Heather Richards, Sara Jane’s long-lost cousin. She’s gorgeous and popular but increasingly suspicious of Sara Jane’s secretive nature. Random fact: she was the original ‘Becky’ on the TV show Two Cool for School.
Juan Kone, the evil mastermind behind Sec-C, and Sara Jane’s newest enemy. Juan is determined to mine Sara Jane’s blood and brain for the secret to cold fury. Random fact: Juan’s grandfather was the cagy mobster, Irving ‘Ice Cream’ Cohen.
Sara Jane Rispoli, the heroine of the COLD FURY trilogy, including book II, FLICKER & BURN. Sara Jane is committed to finding and saving her family, no matter what she has to do or whom she has to hurt to do it. Random fact: she started boxing at age six because ballet was boring, boring, boring.

Then, Now, Forever Cover reveal

I am so excited to be participating in the Cover Reveal of Then, Now, Forever book 2 in the Heartbeat series. I loved book book 1 so much and I can't wait for this book to release. But before I show you the cover let's meet the author and learn more about book 1 In a Heartbeat.

Hi, my name is Teodora and I live in London with my husband Ted and my son Jason. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it became my full time job in 2010 when I decided that everything else I've tried bores me to death and I have to do what I've always wanted to do, but never had to guts to fully embrace. I've been a journalist, an editor, a personal assistant and an interior designer among other things, but as soon as the novelty of the new, exciting job wears off, I always go back to writing. Being twitchy, impatient, loud and hasty are not qualities that help a writer, because I have to sit alone, preferably still, and write for most of the day, but I absolutely love it. It's the only time that I'm truly at peace and the only thing I can do for more than ten minutes at a time - my son has a bigger attention span than me.
When I'm procrastinating, I like to go to the gym, cook Italian meals (and eat them), read, listen to rock music, watch indie movies and True Blood re-runs. Or, in the worst case scenario, get beaten at every Wii game by a five year old.

Stella

“I’ve been in and out of hospitals for the past ten months. I’ve had half my liver removed and even though this time the doctors are very optimistic that they’ve removed all of the tumours, they can’t be sure. In another three months they want me here again for a check up. Right now I feel better than I’ve ever felt. I know the damn thing is gone, at least for the moment. Despite that, I can’t make any plans for the future, not yet. I need to go somewhere where nobody knows me, where I can relax and maybe even forget about all this. Where I can meet people who don’t think of me as the girl who lost her father and her brother in a car accident, and who has cancer. I want to have fun, even if it’s for a couple of months.”

When Stella decides to visit her estranged cousin Lisa in Genoa, she has no idea Italy will give her a new reason to live.

Max

“Her gaze locked on a scene so beautiful, the picturesque beach paled in comparison. A lifeguard emerged from the water, his orange trunks stuck to his legs and water dripping all over him. He shook his head to get rid of some of the water in his hair and Stella felt as if everything started developing in slow motion – tiny drops of water slid from his neck down his broad chest and muscular arms, along a weaving tattoo on his right shoulder, and continued downwards towards his chest and washboard stomach, finally getting lost in the waistband of his trunks. A part of another tattoo peeked over his trunks on his left hip, the other part hidden under them. It was a total Baywatch moment.”

Their love is epic. But there are too many things keeping them apart.

“How could you keep this from me, Lisa? If you had told me the first day I met him, I would have avoided him like the plague. Nothing would have happened between us.”
“I kept your secrets, too, Stella.”

Are Max and Stella strong enough to fight not only for their love, but for their lives?

Now for the Cover Reveal of book 2 Then, Now, Forever:
Even though this is a series each book can be read as a stand alone book.

Then
Gia had let Beppe into her life so easily, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. She’d held him when he’d hurt so badly he’d thought he might die; she’d talked him down when he’d been so angry he’d considered doing something he’d regret for the rest of his life.
 Gia had saved his life.
At least once he needed to be strong for her.
This right now, this moment, was theirs. It belonged to them, not to abusive or dead fathers, not to guilt, regret or sorrow, not to the past of the future.
But will their love survive when tragedy separates them?
“I have to go, Gia. I’m tired and I feel empty. I know you need me, but I have nothing left to give you. I need to heal.”
“I miss you so much it’s hard to breathe.”

Now
Beppe was still Gia’s closest friend. But they’d never be anything more than that again. Remembering what it felt like to have the person you love most in the world be torn away from you still hurt. Gia was determined never to be put into that position again.
There was never lack of love, but can Beppe win Gia’s trust again?

Forever
“When I was broken you gave me pieces of yourself and made me whole again.”
