The Royal Order Of Fighting Dragons Blog Tour

Hello Book Lovers! Today on my blog I have The Royal Order of Fighting Dragons. On my stop there is a spotlight, review, and giveaway.

Born to... Fight?

Ike Rupert Hollingsberry is haunted by the past because complete strangers won’t let him forget that his famous father died on the set of The Fighting Dragons, a cult favorite that still has people talking. But when he’s attacked by a large locust, like the one that killed his dad, Ike is helped by the geekiest nerd of all, Elmira Hand. Killing the giant locust is only the beginning of the surprises in store for Ike as he is whisked away from New York City to an isolated Florida compound to assume his role as the next in line to lead the Royal Order of Fighting Dragons—that are NOT supposed to exist—and learns his dad’s death was a cover-up for a far greater purpose…

Review:
Ike is a normal kid who is haunted by his dad's death while filming the tv show he was on. Even though it wasn't on for long it has a cult following and the fans don't let him forget about it. Some of them even think it was real and that his dad actually rode a real dragon while fighting huge locusts. Ike laughs it off until he gets a video texted to him of his dad dying which his mom was told there wasn't one. Now Ike finds out that he is a long line of Royal Dragon fighters and he has to pick up where is dad left off. But with new friends and old ones he is ready to stop the locusts once and for all.

Ike is a great character. He is brave for being so young along with his other friends. I was hooked on this book quickly and couldn't stop reading it until it was done. But that's to be expected when there is action, magic, a secret order, and dragons. I love dragons so that there sold me on this book. I highly recommend this book to kids and adults as it's a quick fun read. 4/5 Bloody Fangs
