Today on my blog I have the Ensinger Blog Tour. On my stop there is a spotlight, review, favorites post, and giveaway.
A TREMBLING EARTH
The flames of civil war sweep across the Shima Imperium. With their plans to renew the Kazumitsu dynasty foiled, the Lotus Guild unleash their deadliest creation—a mechanical goliath known as the Earthcrusher, intended to unite the shattered Empire under a yoke of fear. With the Tiger Clan and their puppet Daimyo Hiro in tow, the Guild marches toward a battle for absolute dominion over the Isles.
A BROKEN REBELLION
Yukiko and Buruu are forced to take leadership of the KagĂ© rebellion, gathering new allies and old friends in an effort to unite the country against the chi-mongers. But the ghosts of Buruu’s past stand between them and the army they need, and Kin’s betrayal has destroyed all trust among their allies. When a new foe joins the war tearing the Imperium apart, it will be all the pair can do to muster the strength to fight, let alone win.
A FINAL BATTLE
The traitor Kin walks the halls of Guild power, his destiny only a bloody knife-stroke away. Hana and Yoshi struggle to find their place in a world now looking to them as heroes. Secret cabals within the Lotus Guild claw and struggle; one toward darkness, the other toward light. And as the earth splits asunder, as armies destroy each other for rule over an empire of lifeless ash and the final secret about blood lotus is revealed, the people of Shima will learn one last, horrifying truth.
There is nothing a mother won't do to keep her children by her side.
Nothing.
Review:
I have no words for this book as none of them will do
justice to this trilogy. It’s just that good. It has everything in it and I do
mean everything. It has mystery, romance, betrayal and heartbreak and then you
add in the amazing world that Jay as created and it’s just absolute perfection!
I won’t tell you anything about this book as I just can’t and believe me I have
tried to write this review for 2 weeks and every time I am just at a loss for
words. But I will tell you to be prepared to have your heart ripped out and to
have tissue ready because you will need it. I can’t wait to do a re-read of
this Amazing world. 5/5 Bloody Fangs

Your favorite guy/girl characters from your books, including random
facts about them.
Favorite
girl character – Michi.
Michi was orphaned when the people in her village tried to rebel against the
government, and she’s hated authority ever since. She’s an expert with a sword,
and can kill just about anything that looks at her funny. She’s fierce and
uncompromising, but she has a very tender, thoughtful side too, and she’s
honestly working to make the lives of other people better. She kicks ass.
Favorite
guy character – Yoshi
Yoshi’s boyfriend was killed in KINSLAYER, and he’s consumed by a thirst for
revenge. But at the same time, he loves his sister deeply, and would do
anything to protect her. He goes on a huge journey in ENDSINGER, both
spiritually and physically, and he discovers who he really is in the end of the
book. I love his story arc, I love the way he speaks and moves, I love his rage
and his wit. And I love the ending I gave him. It feels 100% right.
Honorable
mention – Buruu.
Because
he’s Buruu!
