Big Numbers Blog Tour

Today on my blog I have the Big Numbers tour. On my stop there is a spotlight, review, and giveaway.

Laugh at divorced dad Austin Carr, a funny, oversexed scamp who'll do anything to get his kids back. Think Bugs Bunny with guns and a penis.

Divorced dad Austin Carr wakes up every day in a beat-up camper, parked on someone else’s private property. Why? Because his alimony and child support payments were established by New Jersey’s family court system when his income was double, and for the last two years he has failed to earn the legally mandated monthly nut. He’s had his savings drained, his Maxima repossessed, his salary attached, and his visiting rights suspended. He bought the twelve-year-old Chevy pick-up with the rusty camper for $800 last month because another landlord tossed his butt in the street. Will stretching the rules, his own morals, and the boundaries of common sense raise the cash needed to get his kids back? Or will his big mouth and bad behavior set him up for a nasty double-cross? See if Austin can redeem himself and win back his children.

Review:

Austin Carr is a down on his luck stockbroker, with a vicious ex-wife, lots of debt, and he has office politics to deal with. But all that is double that is until he goes against his best judgment and gets involved with a bad deal. Can Austin come out on top or will all his bad choices come back to get him in the end?

Austin is a hero that you can’t help enjoy reading about. He is humorous, shameless in his pursuits of women even when they are wrong for him, but when it comes to his kids his heart is in the right place and he will do whatever it takes to get them back. At every turn though life throws more and more curve balls at him and I found myself wondering how he would get out of this mess. At times though I wanted to smack him and scream at him for doing something he knew was wrong but he did it anyway.

Through all his mistakes Austin’s sense of humor had me laughing right along with him and I can’t wait to read the next book to see what messes he gets himself into. 4/5 Bloody Fangs
